Homage to the Proxy: Part II - Principles of Perception was an exhibition in Gallery+, Akureyri. The title refers to the works of gestalt artist, Joseph Albers, Homage to the square, and to the cult classic "The Hudsucker Proxy" ,directed by Joel Cohen in 1994. The exhibition consisted of 3 wall paintings, 4 paintings on MDF and a video showing a young boy swinging a hula-hoop. it is combination of an introvert and extrovert approach to a basic geometrical form. The red circle is painted with fluorscent acrylic.
